1500 Point Games-i-Play Doubles

Okay so tomorrow my buddy and I are going to a doubles tournament at the Westminster battle bunker.  Hes gonna be running chaos and i will be running my daemons.  lets see how this goes!

Work Work Work

So Ive been working on the Daemons again (whats new right?).  Ive got 20 Pink Horrors, 20 Daemonets, 20 Bloodletters, 6 Flamers, the Masque, and finally Kyros.  So obviously the last one is a stand out, but in all honesty he was the only reason i started the army lol.  I only need to get 10 more Pink Horrors then my 2500 point list will be all done.  I'm hoping to start taking pictures  of it all more closely as i get closer to my due date.  More up soon!

UPDATE

okay so I've been super busy with work and school, and i haven't been able to post as much as i would like to.  But here is a rundown of whats been going on.  Ive got my daemons closer to being done and I've finalized a list for a 2250 fantasy game, but i haven't zeroed in on a 2k list for 40k.  My buddy and i did the last gamesiplay.com event and finished 5th with a 2-1 record.  the last game we just got our shit pushed in the last game, but overall another good event.  Now for my FineCast rant.  Ive now seen/built/bought/painted a few of these and i am not impressed.  the lack of quality control is horrible.  the models themselves are amazing and i love them, but the amount of thin pieces, hole, warped, and many other assorted issues makes me wonder if the switch is a  good thing.  I think we should all keep returning them and forcing GW to give us new ones. i am going to paraphrase something Jawaballs said on his blog right now.  We need to let GW know that we will not accept substandard models.  if we let them get away with it now its only going to get worse.  so those are my two cents. take em or leave em.

GamesiPlay 1250 Doubles Tournament

Well this Saturday my buddy and I went to a doubles tournament and got 2nd.  Record was 2 wins and 1 draw.  Couple mistakes put us out of first, but well be back.  Here is the list that was run.

Decision Made

Well i picked up the island of blood box set and after staring at what was inside (and handing over all the Skaven to the girl friend) I've decided to get Daemon's.  I just got a box of pink horrors for now (prob my favorite box set I've assembled in awhile).  Should be a lot of fun to paint! pics up when i get some of em done.
